A simple yet important fine motor activity. From doing a simple activity of tearing a variety of sized and textured papers the Nursery 3s children have learnt and developed their skills. During the activity the children have used their hand eye coordination, used their bilateral coordination, developed their pinch strength and arch development. They have opened their thumb web space and built up their shoulder and forearm stability. They have also strengthened their precision and refined grasp and had proprioceptive input!
