During our Muddy Mondays session this week, Reception started off with talking about Autumn. We talked about what happens to the leaves on the trees. This was important to know as we needed leaves for our activity. We made our very own Autumn Wands. The children needed to find crispy Leaves and a stick to create their wands. Miss Hardon found an insect which we were unsure about. We put it in our bug finder and searched what it could be. We found out that it was called a Green Shield Bug. We all had a closer look at the bug. Beatrix managed to catch a Spider using the Bug Catchers, We had a closer look at the Spider too. To end our session Mrs Jefferson read ‘What the Ladybird heard next’.
