Richmond Hill is a single form entry school which places our children and families at the heart of everything we do. We are situated on the edge of the Solway plain and the edge of The Lake District. In our recent inspection (November 2021) we were rated good by Ofsted.
Your child's learning journey can begin with us from age two in our wonderful nursery provision, where we promote curiosity, use of rich language, a love of stories, books, singing and exploring our vast outdoor environment.
Our curriculum reflects our locality and provides opportunities for children to sequentially build and deepen their knowledge, skills and understanding across all subjects, underpinned by a solid foundation in reading, writing and maths.
Our carefully planned curriculum provides opportunities to develop their cultural capital, whilst our values are embedded to promote successful relationships and allow our pupils to generate aspirations for their future learning.
