Reception noticed that everything looked a little different. We explored our environment and came up with some amazing words to describe what had happened. We investigated what we saw in the ice tray, on Friday it was filled with water but today the water had turned into ice! We discovered that the ice was hard, very cold and transparent, we could even read the mud kitchen menu through it. We were amazed! The children noticed that the sun was shining and decided if it got brighter, it would be warmer and the ice would melt. Some of the children said that the ice tray was like the Arctic and added some animals to their play. An amazing morning of investigation.
