This week in Reception we have enjoyed reading the book ‘Whatever Next’ We discussed where to find the title, author and blurb of a book and then enjoyed reading the story and exploring the illustrations. Next we chatted about what we would take in our space rocket if we went to the moon!

The children then were free to explore our classroom, getting busy building rockets from different shapes, from Lego and from cardboard boxes. We have coloured in some space themed pictures and even written a list of some things we’d want to take to the moon.
